Who may be able to join
- People who have been formally diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease by both a neurologist and a psychiatrist at the hospital.
- People whose brain scan (called an Amyloid-PET scan) has come back positive, showing a build-up of amyloid plaques in the brain.
- People who are willing to sign a consent form, or who have a legal representative willing to sign on their behalf.
- People who are 18 years of age or older.

- People who have a history of allergies to shellfish or iodine, as a substance called Indocyanine Green (ICG) — which may trigger reactions in people with these allergies — is used during the procedure.
- People who have unresolved concerns or questions about the trial that cannot be answered to their satisfaction.
- People who are considered medically unsuitable for general anaesthesia — for example, those with severe heart or lung problems, or a known allergy to certain anaesthetic medications.
