Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have previously used a CPAP machine for more than 30 days before enrolling in the trial.
- People whose condition requires a different type of breathing support device (such as BiPAP or non-invasive ventilation) due to conditions like chronic breathing problems, certain lung diseases, or muscle and nerve disorders.
- People whose sleep apnea is mainly caused by signals from the brain rather than a physical airway blockage, or who have an irregular breathing pattern called Cheyne-Stokes respiration.
- People with a recent serious or unstable health condition, such as severe heart failure, a heart attack in the past 30 days, or a stroke in the past 3 months.
- People with significant memory, thinking, or mental health difficulties that would prevent understanding or following the study procedures.
- People with physical features that make it unsafe or impossible to wear a CPAP mask, such as significant facial structural differences, facial injuries, or extensive skin conditions on the face.
- People who would not be able to attend follow-up appointments at primary care services within the CRS Sudeste area.
- People who are already taking part in another clinical trial that could affect this study's results.
