Who may be able to join

  • Women aged 18 or older.
  • People diagnosed with invasive breast cancer that has been confirmed by a tissue sample (biopsy) and is HER2-negative (meaning the cancer tests negative for a specific protein called HER2).
  • People whose breast cancer has spread to the liver.
  • People whose cancer has come back or spread, and who have already tried at least one standard treatment that stopped working — for hormone receptor-positive (HR+) breast cancer, this includes having previously received a specific type of targeted therapy called a CDK4/6 inhibitor; for hormone receptor-negative (HR-) breast cancer, this includes having received at least one round of chemotherapy.
  • People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on a scan (not in an area that has already been treated with radiation), separate from any liver lesions being targeted in this trial.
  • People whose liver metastases meet specific size and number limits: no more than 10 spots in the liver, each no larger than 4 cm, and none involving nearby blood vessels or bile ducts.
  • People whose blood test results show that their blood counts and liver function are within the ranges required by the trial (confirm specific values with the trial site).
  • People who are expected to live for at least 12 weeks.
  • Women who are able to become pregnant must be willing to use an approved method of contraception throughout the study treatment period and for at least 3 months after the last dose.
  • People who have agreed to take part voluntarily, signed a consent form, and are willing to attend follow-up appointments as required.

  • People who have had radiotherapy or surgery for their breast cancer within 1 week before starting the trial.
  • People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
  • People who have been diagnosed with another cancer in the past 3 years, except for certain treated skin cancers or early-stage cervical changes that have been fully treated.
  • People with serious other health conditions, including mental health conditions that, in the opinion of the trial doctor, could interfere with participation.
  • People with a history of bleeding in the digestive system (such as the stomach or oesophagus) in the past 6 months, or signs of a significant risk of such bleeding (confirm specific details with the trial site).
  • People who have had a hole or tear in the digestive tract, or an infection inside the abdomen, within 28 days before joining the trial.
  • People whose urine tests show a high level of protein, or whose 24-hour urine collection shows more than a certain amount of protein (confirm with trial site).
  • People with high blood pressure that cannot be brought under control with medication (above 140/90 mmHg).
  • People with known allergies to any of the study drugs or to similar types of medications called monoclonal antibodies.
