  • People aged 22 years or older at the time of screening.
  • People who have been diagnosed with moderate-to-severe insomnia disorder for more than three months, meaning they have ongoing difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or getting good quality sleep.

  • People who are unable to commit to avoiding alcohol for the duration of the study.
  • People who are unable to commit to avoiding caffeine after 12:00 pm (noon) each day during the study.
  • People who have a significant or unstable medical or surgical condition.
  • People who use a pacemaker or cardiac monitor.
  • People who have a severe physical illness or who have recently had surgery.
  • People who have a severe mental health condition, such as schizophrenia, severe major depression, severe anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia, substance use disorder, or a serious neurological condition such as epilepsy (seizures), stroke, or Parkinson's disease.
  • People who have another serious sleep disorder, such as severe obstructive sleep apnea.
  • People who are unable to attend scheduled follow-up appointments during the study.
  • People whose doctor determines they have any unstable medical or mental health condition.
