Who may be able to join
- People who are willing to take part and sign a consent form agreeing to participate.
- Men or women between 18 and 65 years old (inclusive).

Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People with a history of serious illnesses, or any current health condition that could affect the study or put them at unacceptable risk.
- People who test positive for hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis, or hepatitis C (confirm with trial site).
- People who have donated blood, experienced significant blood loss (400 mL or more in total), or received a blood transfusion in the 3 months before screening.
- People with a history of alcohol misuse in the past year, or who test positive on a breath alcohol test at screening.
- People with a history of drug or substance misuse, or who test positive on a drug screening test.
- People who have taken part in another clinical trial of a drug or medical device within the 3 months before screening.
- Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or women who could become pregnant and test positive on a pregnancy test.
- People whom the trial investigator considers unsuitable for the study for any other reason.
- People whose memory or thinking problems are caused by a condition other than Alzheimer's disease.
- People who have had a stroke in the 6 months before screening, or whose brain scans show significant brain disease.
- People who have had epileptic seizures or abnormal results on a brain wave test (EEG) in the 6 months before screening.
- People who have had unstable or serious health conditions in the 6 months before screening that, in the investigator's judgement, make participation unsuitable.
- People whose kidneys are not functioning well enough, based on a standard blood test result (eGFR below 60 mL/min/1.73 m²).
- People whose liver test results are significantly outside the normal range, based on specific blood test measurements (confirm with trial site for exact values).
- People who are currently taking, or are expected to need during the study, any medications that are not permitted under the study rules.
- People whom the trial investigator considers unsuitable for the study for any other reason.
