  • People who have been assessed as needing a pacemaker but have not yet had one fitted
  • People with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a long-term lung condition) that has led to a specific type of breathing failure called type II respiratory failure
  • People who have a mental illness or are considered a special-needs population for that reason
