Who may be able to join

  • People aged 18 years or older.
  • People who have been newly diagnosed with breast cancer at clinical stage 0 to II, or stage III where breast-conserving surgery may be possible after chemotherapy given before surgery.
  • People for whom doctors have determined that breast-conserving surgery is a medical option, and who are considering one of the following types of surgery: breast-conserving surgery, full breast removal, or full breast removal with reconstruction.
  • People who are medically suitable to receive additional treatment after surgery.
  • People who are able to access the internet using a smartphone.
  • People who are able to read, speak, and understand Mandarin.

Who may not be able to join

Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.

  • Male breast cancer patients.
  • People for whom doctors have determined that only one surgical option is available, or who are not suitable for surgery at all.
  • People who have a history of other cancers, with the exception of certain treated skin cancers or early-stage cervical cancer that has been adequately treated (confirm with trial site).
  • People who have a psychiatric condition, significant vision or hearing impairment, or cognitive impairment.
