- People with serious disease affecting the heart valves
- People currently being treated for an active cancer
- People who have Type 1 diabetes
- People whose coronary artery shape or structure would prevent a specific measurement tool (PressureWire X) from being used safely or accurately
- People who are pregnant
- People with heart failure at a moderately severe or severe level on a standard scale
- People with asthma or chronic lung disease causing severe, permanent breathing obstruction
- People with atrial fibrillation (an irregular heart rhythm condition)
- People with a significant heart electrical blockage who do not have a pacemaker fitted
- People who have an abnormal electrical pathway in the heart shown on a heart tracing, or a history of a related rhythm disorder, without having had corrective treatment
