Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have been diagnosed with heart failure caused by reduced blood flow to the heart (ischemic cardiomyopathy), your heart is pumping at less than 35% of its normal capacity, and you have moderate to severe heart failure symptoms (such as feeling breathless or very limited in daily activities).
- You have been on the best available heart medications at the highest doses you can tolerate for at least 3 months.
- You are willing and able to understand what the treatment involves and agree to take part by signing a consent form (a family member or legal representative may do this on your behalf if needed).
- Your blood counts meet certain minimum levels — your red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets are all above specific thresholds (confirm with trial site).
Who may not be able to join:
- You are not expected to live more than 1 year due to a condition unrelated to your heart.
- You have had a heart rhythm device (CRT) implanted within the last 3 months, or one is planned for you.
- You have had a heart procedure to open blocked arteries (such as a stent or bypass surgery) within the last 3 months, or one is planned for you.
- Your heart condition is caused by something other than blocked arteries — for example, an inherited, inflammatory, or structural heart condition.
- Your heart is currently too unstable to maintain normal blood circulation.
- You have severe kidney disease requiring dialysis or very poor kidney function (confirm with trial site).
- You have an active autoimmune disease (where your immune system attacks your own body) that requires medication to suppress your immune system.
- You have a history of cancer of any kind.
- You have an active infection, including active hepatitis B or C, syphilis, HIV, or any uncontrolled bacterial, viral, or fungal infection.
- You are currently pregnant.
- You have a known reason why you cannot receive the study treatment or take part in the study procedures (confirm with trial site).
