Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years old or older.
- You must have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer or another pancreatic condition, confirmed through a tissue or cell sample test.
- You must be awake and alert, and be able to read, write, or communicate well enough to answer survey questions — either on your own, with help from a researcher, or with help from a family member.
- You must be willing to take part in the study and sign a consent form agreeing to participate.
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have serious memory or thinking problems (such as dementia or severely reduced consciousness), or a known history of psychiatric illness, who are unable to complete the study assessments and do not have a family member who can help them do so.
- People who have other serious, uncontrolled health conditions (such as severe heart, lung, or kidney failure) and whose doctor estimates they have less than 3 months to live.
- People who are unable to understand Chinese, or who have severe vision or hearing problems that would prevent them from completing the survey questions, and who do not have a family member who can help them do so.
