Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 85 years of age
- People who are currently being treated with a ResMed CPAP machine
- People whose sleep apnea events are still occurring at a rate of more than 10 events per hour, even while using their CPAP machine
- People who have access to a smartphone and home internet connection, and are able to use a mobile app
- People who have signed a consent form agreeing to take part
- People who are enrolled in, or covered by, a national health insurance program
Who may not be able to join:
- People with severe chronic lung disease that limits airflow in or out of the lungs, whether or not they use supplemental oxygen
- People with unstable heart disease, or serious heart failure that required a hospital stay in the past 3 months, or whose heart failure is classified as severely limiting daily activity (confirm with trial site)
- People with conditions that affect the movement of the jaw joint
- People who are not willing to shave facial hair if needed for the Sunrise monitoring device to be placed correctly
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial, or who are within a waiting period following a previous study
- People who, in the opinion of the trial investigator, are unlikely to follow the study procedures
- People who cannot be reached in an emergency
- People in legally protected categories under French health law, including pregnant or breastfeeding women, people detained or deprived of liberty, people under certain forms of psychiatric care, people living in care or social institutions for reasons unrelated to research, and people under legal guardianship or who are unable to give informed consent
- Staff members who have a direct reporting relationship to the principal investigator of the trial
