Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 75 years old (any gender)
- You have one or more symptoms linked to "Cerebral Tinnitus Syndrome" that have been present for at least 3 months
- After a thorough medical check-up, doctors suspect that a narrowing of a vein in your neck (called the internal jugular vein) may be causing your symptoms, with other known causes ruled out
- Scans or imaging tests (such as an ultrasound or a special CT scan of the neck veins) show that this vein is significantly narrowed (at least 50% blocked)
- You are willing to take part and have signed a consent form agreeing to join the study
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had brain surgery in the past, or have been diagnosed with a growth or mass inside the skull
- You have serious heart, liver, or kidney problems, or another major illness affecting your whole body
- You have had any surgery or procedure in the last 6 months that affected blood flow through the jugular vein in your neck
- You have a history of psychiatric (mental health) conditions or memory/thinking problems that would make it difficult to complete the study assessments
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
