Who may be able to join
- People who are between 18 and 65 years old
- People who have previously been diagnosed with non-metastatic breast cancer (this applies to the breast cancer survivor group only)
- People who finished chemotherapy at least 6 months ago and no more than 36 months ago, if chemotherapy was planned (this applies to the breast cancer survivor group only)
- People who understand Italian and are able to give their informed consent to participate
Who may not be able to join

- People who have cancer that has spread to the brain, or who have previously had radiation therapy to the brain (this applies to the breast cancer survivor group only)
- People who have been diagnosed with another type of cancer in addition to breast cancer (this applies to the breast cancer survivor group only)
- People who have previously been diagnosed with a malignant cancer of any kind (this applies to the control group only)
- People who have a history of brain damage that has left lasting neurological effects
- People who have had, or currently have, serious neurological conditions
- People who have severe psychiatric conditions
- People who have ongoing health conditions affecting the whole body that could interfere with thinking and cognitive abilities
- People who are taking medications that strongly affect thinking or cognitive function, and whose dose has not been stable for at least 4 weeks before joining the trial
- People who have vision or hearing difficulties that are not adequately corrected with glasses, hearing aids, or other means
- People who have any disability that could affect how well they are able to complete cognitive tests
