Who may be able to join
- Native French speakers.
- People who are able to move around independently at least within their neighbourhood (based on a mobility assessment called the LSA-F).

- Caregivers (Group B): people who regularly care for a person with dementia who is enrolled in Group A, with at least 10 hours of contact per week across a minimum of 3 days per week.
- Healthy volunteers (Group C): people aged between 55 and 85 years old.
- Healthy volunteers (Group C): people who are able to walk on their own without human assistance or mobility aids, except for a single walking cane.
- Healthy volunteers (Group C): people whose score on the MMSE memory and thinking test falls within the normal range according to French cognitive assessment standards (called GRECO standards).
Who may not be able to join

- People who are not able to give their own informed consent.

- People who are able to give consent but cannot write.
- Cases where one member of a patient–caregiver pair does not wish to take part in the study.
- Patients in Subgroup A1 and healthy volunteers in Group C: people who have a sensory or language problem that would interfere with completing the study tasks.
- Patients in Subgroup A1 and healthy volunteers in Group C: people with a history of moderate or severe head injury that involved a loss of consciousness.
- Patients in Subgroup A1 and healthy volunteers in Group C: people whose medication affecting mood or brain function has been changed within the 48 hours before testing.
- Patients in Subgroup A1 and healthy volunteers in Group C: people with chronic alcoholism.
- Patients in Subgroup A1 and healthy volunteers in Group C: people with severe depression, defined as a score of 10 or higher on a standard depression screening tool called the GDS-15.
- Patients in Subgroup A1 and healthy volunteers in Group C: people with other significant psychiatric or neurological conditions (for patients, this exclusion does not apply to Alzheimer's disease itself).
