Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are between 18 and 65 years old (any gender)
- You have been diagnosed with a long-term sinus infection without nasal polyps (lasting more than 12 weeks), based on Chinese medical guidelines from 2018
- A camera examination of your nose has shown signs of pus or discharge in your sinuses
- A sample of your nasal discharge has tested positive for a specific bacteria called Staphylococcus aureus
- Your symptom score on a standard sinus questionnaire (SNOT-22) is 30 or higher, meaning your symptoms are significantly affecting your daily life
- You are willing and able to give your signed agreement to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had sinus surgery in the last 6 months, or you have a structural problem in your nose that doctors say needs surgery
- You have been diagnosed with a fungal sinus infection, a sinus infection linked to a tooth problem, or nasal polyps
- Your nasal discharge sample shows a different specific bacteria (called Pseudomonas aeruginosa) as the main cause of your infection
- You have a condition that affects how the tiny hairs in your airways work, cystic fibrosis, or a seriously weakened immune system
- You have taken antibiotic tablets/injections or immune-suppressing medicines in the last 4 weeks
- You have used steroid nasal sprays in the last 2 weeks
- You have a known allergy or sensitivity to mupirocin, DNase I, or any ingredient in the study treatment
- You have serious kidney problems (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
- You have a serious ongoing condition such as poorly controlled diabetes, high blood pressure, or an autoimmune disease that is not well managed
- You have had cancer at any point in the last 5 years
- You are currently taking part in another clinical trial
