  • You currently have a problem with misuse of alcohol, drugs, or other substances
  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You have epilepsy or have had epilepsy in the past
  • You have a serious medical condition that is unstable or getting worse, such as cancer
  • You have a mental health condition involving psychosis
  • You have another pain condition that is more severe than the fibromyalgia pain that qualifies you for the trial
  • You did not fill in your pain diary correctly during the initial assessment period (fewer than 4 pain scores recorded over 7 days)
  • You are unable to understand the consent form, or you are under legal guardianship or curatorship
  • You have taken part in another clinical research study within the last 30 days
