Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be under 18 years old
- You must be attending a nose and sinus specialist clinic with a condition called chronic rhinosinusitis (long-term inflammation of the sinuses) along with nasal polyps (small, non-cancerous growths inside the nose)
- You must have a reduced or lost sense of smell for any reason, except if it was caused by an injury or a tumour
Who may not be able to join:
- Anyone who is 18 years of age or older
- People who have nasal polyps on only one side of the nose
- People who have an autoimmune disease (a condition where the immune system attacks the body's own tissues) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have a condition that affects how tiny hair-like structures in the airways work, such as Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (confirm with trial site)
- People who have cystic fibrosis (an inherited condition affecting the lungs and digestive system)
- People whose loss of smell was caused by a tumour or a physical injury
