  • You have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia syndrome based on current standard diagnostic guidelines

  • You currently have an active infection
  • Your medications have been changed within the last month before joining the study
  • You have a condition affecting your brain or nerves, with a specific exception for a particular type of nerve damage detected by a skin test (confirm with trial site)
  • You showed signs of memory or thinking difficulties during a neurological check-up
  • You have a serious mental health condition that requires its own specific treatment
  • You have pain from another medical condition that cannot be clearly separated from your fibromyalgia pain
  • You currently or previously have had problems with alcohol or substance misuse
  • You are not able to understand the Italian language adequately
