Who may be able to join
- People who have been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease using a standard set of medical guidelines (known as the 2011 NIA-AA criteria).
- People whose memory and thinking abilities fall within a specific range, as measured by a standard test called the Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), with a score between 10 and 24.

Who may not be able to join

- People who have received a type of brain stimulation treatment called rTMS in the past 3 months.
- People who have depression or other mental health conditions.
- People who have a history of head injury, stroke, epilepsy, or other neurological (brain or nervous system) conditions.
- People who have structural brain abnormalities visible on certain types of brain scan (T1 or T2 MRI images).
- People who have a history of unexplained loss of consciousness.
- People who have an implanted medical device such as a pacemaker, medication pump, vagal stimulator, deep brain stimulator, or any other implanted device that cannot safely be used with MRI scanning.
- People who have a family history of epilepsy that has not responded to medication.
- People who have a history of substance abuse within the last 6 months.
