Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18–75 years (for healthy controls, or people with early or late pre-symptomatic HD, or those with an incomplete form of the HD gene change), adults aged 21–75 years (for people with early, moderate, or advanced HD symptoms), or children aged 11 and older (for juvenile HD)
- You must be enrolling as an HD participant (someone with or at risk for Huntington's disease)
- You are able to give your own consent to take part, or you have a legal representative (such as a parent or guardian for younger participants) who can consent on your behalf
- You are able to follow and complete the study procedures as required
- All participants except family or community controls must have already had a genetic test for HD
Who may not be able to join:
- You have taken part in a drug trial within the last 30 days before any study visit
- You have changed certain medications — such as antidepressants, mental health medications, or other drugs or supplements used to treat HD — within the last 30 days
- You have taken blood-thinning or anti-clotting medication within the last 14 days
- You have a serious other health condition that may interfere with the study
- You have a fear of needles, frequent headaches, or have had spinal surgery or a spinal condition (confirm with trial site)
- You have a disorder that affects how your blood clots or causes unusual bruising
- Your screening blood test results are more than 10% outside the normal range
- You have a problem with drug or alcohol misuse
- You have a positive pregnancy test at any point during the screening or study visit (for women who could become pregnant)
- There are concerns that you would not be able or willing to follow the study requirements
- You have had a serious reaction to procedures in this study, or you have had a lumbar puncture (spinal tap) for any reason in the past 30 days
