- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant
- People who have physical limitations not related to Parkinson's disease that would affect movement-related assessments
- People who have had a craniotomy (an operation to open the skull)
- People who have had any form of brain surgery
- People who are unable to communicate effectively with the study staff, for example due to severe speech difficulties
- People who experience excessive drooling
- People whose hairstyle would prevent an EEG cap from being placed properly on the head
- People who have abnormal sensation in their fingertips
- People who are taking a medication that may cause significant withdrawal effects if stopped
