Who may not be able to join:

  • You have had heart bypass surgery, artery widening, or a stent placed in the last 3 months
  • You have had a heart attack in the last 3 months
  • You are currently experiencing an acute (sudden) heart attack or related emergency
  • You are scheduled to have heart bypass surgery, artery widening, or a stent placed
  • You are on a waiting list for a heart transplant
  • You already have a mechanical heart pump device implanted
  • You currently have sudden inflammation of the heart muscle
  • You have a disease where abnormal substances build up in the heart muscle (confirm with trial site)
  • You have a condition where the heart muscle is abnormally thick
  • You have a serious problem with one or more of your heart valves
  • You are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or not using reliable contraception if you could become pregnant
  • You have a mental or physical condition that would prevent you from taking part
  • You are unwilling or unable to follow the study procedures
  • You have heart disease caused by rheumatic fever
  • You have a mechanical (artificial) tricuspid heart valve
  • You have another serious health condition that could affect the study (confirm with trial site)
  • You are currently taking part in another study testing a new drug or medical device
  • You would not be available for follow-up visits after joining
  • You have severe kidney disease where your kidneys are working at a very low level
  • Your life expectancy is 12 months or less
  • You are already taking part in another remote health monitoring programme
