  • People who have medical or psychiatric conditions that would prevent full participation in the nutrition program, such as food allergies, serious swallowing difficulties, insulin-dependent diabetes, use of warfarin (a blood thinner), or inflammatory bowel disease
  • People who have clinical dementia
  • People who are unable to complete questionnaires or follow study instructions
  • People who are currently using immune-modifying medications (confirm with trial site)
  • People who have used probiotic supplements in the 4 weeks before the study starts
  • People who have used antibiotics in the 3 months before the study starts
  • People who have any conditions that mean an MRI scan is not safe for them
