Who may be able to join
- People aged 18 to 75 who have been newly diagnosed with advanced ovarian cancer (stage III or IV), who had surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible, followed by 6 to 8 rounds of chemotherapy using standard drug combinations.
- People whose general physical health is rated as fully active or able to carry out light work (based on a standard scale used by doctors).

- People who use certain medications long-term that affect blood cell composition, such as recombinant human erythropoietin, recombinant human interleukin, or similar drugs.
- People with serious problems affecting the function of major organs.
- People with certain infectious diseases, such as HIV, active tuberculosis, or immune deficiency conditions.
- People with blood conditions that may develop into cancer, such as myelodysplastic syndromes.
- People who have received treatment to suppress their immune system within the last 2 weeks.
- People who have a disorder affecting blood clotting.
