Who may be able to join
- People who are willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study.
- Women aged 18 to 74 years old.
- Women who have been diagnosed through a tissue sample (biopsy or similar procedure) with a specific type of ovarian, peritoneal, or fallopian tube cancer (high-grade serous, endometrial, or clear cell types), at an advanced stage (FIGO 2018 stage III or IV).
- Women whose cancer meets one of these conditions: a medical team has determined that complete surgical removal of the tumour is unlikely; or the person is not well enough to safely undergo major surgery straight away; or no prior cancer treatment has been received for ovarian cancer (including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy).
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured on scans, according to standard measurement guidelines (RECIST version 1.1).
- People with a general physical fitness score of 0, 1, or 2 on the ECOG scale, which means they are able to carry out daily activities to varying degrees (confirm with trial site).
- People whose expected survival is longer than 12 weeks.
- People whose heart, liver, kidneys, and other organs are working well enough to meet the trial's requirements (confirm with trial site for specific thresholds).
- Women of reproductive age who agree to use effective contraception throughout the trial, and whose pregnancy test (blood or urine) comes back negative before joining.
- Women who are not currently breastfeeding.
Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People whose ovarian, fallopian tube, or peritoneal cancer is not of the epithelial type (for example, germ cell tumours), or whose tumour is classified as borderline (low malignant potential).
- People who have had, or currently have, another cancer diagnosed within the past 5 years — with some exceptions, such as certain skin cancers, superficial bladder cancer, cervical cancer in situ, breast cancer in situ, or breast cancer with no recurrence for more than 3 years after full surgical treatment.
- People with active hepatitis B or C infection, or those who carry the hepatitis B virus with virus levels above a certain threshold in their blood; people with cured hepatitis C (with negative virus levels in the blood) may be considered eligible (confirm with trial site).
- People who have tested positive for HIV or have been diagnosed with AIDS.
- People with an active or potentially recurring autoimmune disease — though some conditions may be acceptable, such as vitiligo, hair loss, or mild skin conditions not needing ongoing treatment, stable thyroid conditions managed with hormone therapy, or type 1 diabetes managed with a stable insulin dose.
- People who have had a severe allergic reaction to any monoclonal antibody or to ingredients in the drugs being tested in this trial.
- People with known active tuberculosis (TB), or suspected active TB that has not been ruled out through examination; people with known active syphilis infection.
- People who have had, or currently have, a non-infectious lung inflammation condition (such as pneumonitis or interstitial lung disease) that has required treatment with steroid medications.
- People who had a serious infection in the 4 weeks before starting the trial, including infections that required hospital admission or intravenous antibiotics in the 2 weeks before starting (not including hepatitis B or C antiviral treatment).
- People with serious non-cancer medical conditions — such as neurological disorders, psychiatric conditions, active infections, or significant abnormal test results — that the trial doctor believes would make participation unsafe.
- People with significant heart or blood vessel disease (confirm with trial site for specific conditions).
- People whom the trial doctor considers unsuitable for the study for any other reason.
