  • People with ongoing moderate nerve damage (Grade 2 peripheral neuropathy) remaining from prior treatment.
  • People with untreated cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord, or people who need more than 10 mg per day of prednisone (or equivalent) to manage brain/spinal involvement, or people who have had signs of neurological instability within the past 28 days.

  • People who have previously received weekly paclitaxel treatment for recurrent disease.

  • People with a wound, ulcer, or bone fracture that has not healed.
  • People who have had a serious active infection requiring intravenous antibiotics or hospitalisation within 7 days before joining the study.
  • People with a known severe allergy or serious hypersensitivity reaction to any of the study drugs or their ingredients, including certain types of proteins used in medicines or products containing a specific ingredient called Cremophor EL.
  • People who regularly need blood transfusions, platelet transfusions, or injections to boost white blood cell counts.
  • Women of childbearing potential who are unwilling to use a highly effective form of contraception, or to abstain from sex, during treatment and for 6 months after the last dose of study drug.
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • People who have any other condition that, in the treating doctor's opinion, could increase risks, affect the study results, or make participation unsuitable.
  • People who have previously received BMX-001 or participated in another study involving BMX-001.
  • People with a history of additional risk factors for a specific type of heart rhythm problem called Torsades de Pointes (for example, heart failure, low potassium levels, or a family history of Long QT Syndrome).
