Who may be able to join
- People diagnosed with type 2 diabetes according to WHO standards, with a fasting blood glucose level of 7.0 mmol/L or higher, who are between 30 and 75 years old (any gender).

Who may not be able to join

- People who have had a serious diabetes-related emergency (such as diabetic ketoacidosis or a dangerous high blood sugar episode) within the past 6 months.
- People who have had a serious heart or brain event — such as severe heart failure (classified as NYHA grade III or IV), a heart attack, stroke, or brain bleed — within the past 6 months.
- People with abnormal blood test results, such as low white blood cell or neutrophil counts, abnormal platelet levels, or a bleeding disorder.
- People with liver or kidney problems, as indicated by specific blood test results exceeding defined limits (confirm with trial site for exact values).
- People with other serious ongoing illnesses affecting major body systems, such as cancer, nervous system conditions, heart conditions, blood disorders, digestive conditions, hormonal disorders, breathing problems, urinary or reproductive system diseases, or immune system conditions.

- People who are pregnant, breastfeeding, planning to become pregnant, or not using effective contraception (for those who could become pregnant).
- People who have received stem cell treatment or taken part in another clinical trial within the 3 months before joining this trial.
- People who are still experiencing side effects (graded level 2 or higher) from a previous medication within 4 weeks before the trial begins.
- People with a congenital or acquired immune system disorder, or a history of organ transplantation.
- People with other serious illnesses that may affect how the treatment is delivered or how results are measured.
- People whose overall condition the trial doctors consider unsuitable for inclusion, based on their clinical judgement.
