Who may not be able to join
Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.
- People whose Parkinson's-like symptoms are caused by something other than idiopathic Parkinson's disease (for example, drug-induced Parkinsonism or Parkinsonism following a stroke).

- People who have been diagnosed with, or show signs of, an atypical Parkinsonian condition such as multiple system atrophy or progressive supranuclear palsy.
- People who have a brain or psychiatric condition other than idiopathic Parkinson's disease (mild depression or anxiety related to Parkinson's disease does not automatically exclude someone — confirm with trial site).

- People who have had brain surgery for Parkinson's disease, such as pallidotomy, thalamotomy, or deep brain stimulation.

- People who test positive for hepatitis B surface antigen, hepatitis B core antibody, or hepatitis C at screening.

Trial details
This date has passed while the registry still lists the trial as open to participants. Sponsors often update a trial's status without revising its projected end date, so it may well still be recruiting — but the record is out of date in at least one respect. Check with the study contact before relying on either.
Primary endpoints
The cumulative mean percentage adhesion of the transdermal patch over the 24-hour dosing interval for two treatment periods, compared between Rotigexole (Test) and Neupro® (Reference)
