Who may be able to join

  • People who have received strong bone-strengthening medications — such as bisphosphonates, denosumab, or teriparatide — within the past 2 years.
  • People who have a history of pancreatitis (inflammation of the pancreas) or who have very high triglyceride (a type of fat in the blood) levels above a certain threshold.
  • People who have a family history of a specific type of thyroid cancer called medullary carcinoma.
