Who may be able to join

  • People who have been diagnosed with ovarian clear cell carcinoma, confirmed by laboratory testing of tissue samples.
  • People whose cancer has continued to grow (shown on imaging) after receiving immunotherapy treatments (such as anti-PD-1, PD-L1, or PD-1/PD-L1+CTLA4), and who have since received a treatment called Sacituzumab.
  • People who have at least one tumour that can be measured using standard imaging criteria (called RECIST version 1.1).
  • People with a life expectancy of at least 12 months.
  • People with normal kidney and liver function, and no significant suppression of bone marrow activity.
  • People with a good general level of physical functioning, rated 0 or 1 on a standard scale used by doctors (called the ECOG Performance Status scale).
  • People who have recovered from side effects of previous treatments, so that those side effects are at a mild or absent level (below grade 1, except for hair loss, which is permitted).
  • People who are willing to take part, follow the study requirements, attend scheduled visits, and sign a consent form agreeing to participate.

Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.

  • People who have received more than two rounds of treatment after their cancer stopped responding to immunotherapy.
  • People who have previously been treated with a drug called irinotecan, or with antibody-drug treatments (ADCs) that contain a type of ingredient known as topoisomerase I inhibitors.
  • People who have, or have had, a lung condition called interstitial lung disease (ILD) or non-infectious pneumonitis that required treatment with steroids.
  • People with a significant dry eye condition, a serious eyelid gland disease, severe eyelid inflammation (blepharitis), or a history of corneal disease that affects normal eye healing.
  • People who currently have, or have a history of, a blocked or obstructed bowel, a bowel fistula, a blocked urinary tract that cannot be managed with a stent, inflammatory bowel disease, or cancer that has spread to the brain.
  • People who have received an organ transplant.
  • People with a serious (grade 3 or higher) blood clot in a vein.
  • People with any active infection of any severity, including tuberculosis.
  • People who have previously had radiation therapy to the pelvis or abdomen.
  • People who currently have another type of cancer at the same time.
  • People with significant mental health conditions affecting their mental status.
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or people of childbearing potential (male or female) who are unable to use effective contraception during the study and for 6 months after the last dose.
  • People the trial investigator considers unsuitable for participation for any other reason.
