Who may be able to join
For the young person:
- Between 13 and 22 years old
- Has been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
- Currently receiving care at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh
- Able to give their agreement to take part in the study
For the caregiver:
- An adult aged 18 or older who identifies as a primary caregiver of a young person aged 13 to 22 with type 2 diabetes
- The young person in their care has also agreed to take part in the study
- Able to give their consent to participate
Note: A young person and their caregiver must join together as a pair.
