Who may be able to join
- People who are willing to sign a consent form before the study begins, understand what the study involves including possible side effects, and are able to follow the rules and restrictions set out in the study plan.

- People who have a condition that could affect the accuracy of the HbA1c blood test at screening, or who have donated blood, lost more than 400 mL of blood, or received a blood transfusion within the 3 months before screening.
- People who have been diagnosed with an active cancer in the 5 years before screening — with some exceptions for certain fully treated skin cancers or non-spreading cancers (confirm with trial site) — or where there is strong suspicion of a possible cancer at the time of screening.
