Who may be able to join
- People who are able to give their consent to take part in the study.
- People who have already had a specific investigational deep brain stimulation (DBS) device called the Summit RC+S implanted.
- People who do not have significant memory or thinking difficulties, shown by a score of 21 or higher on a standard cognitive test called the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA).

- People who meet one of the following movement-related criteria: their movement scores fall within a certain range when tested both on and off medication, and they experience at least 2 hours per day of good movement without troublesome involuntary movements; OR people whose Parkinson's is mainly characterised by tremor that has not responded to medication and causes significant difficulty with daily life despite the best available medication (confirm with trial site).
- People who have walking difficulties such as slowed walking, shuffling steps, balance problems, or episodes of freezing (sudden inability to move the feet) when off medication.
Who may not be able to join
