- People covered by specific sections of French public health law (Articles L1121-5 to L1121-8 of the French Public Health Code), including: women who are pregnant, in labour, or breastfeeding; people who are currently detained by a court or government decision; people receiving certain types of supervised psychiatric care; people admitted to a healthcare or social care facility for reasons other than research.
- People who are minors, or adults under legal guardianship, or who are unable to give their own consent to participate.
- People who have a hierarchical relationship (such as an employment or supervisory relationship) with any professional involved in the study.
- For healthy volunteers only: people who have a personal history of a diagnosed neurological disorder.
- People who join the trial but are later found to have scored below 24 on a standard cognitive assessment called the MoCA will be removed from the study after enrolment.
