Who may be able to join
- Adults aged 18 years or older, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with lung cancer, or where doctors strongly suspect lung cancer based on CT, PET, or other scans taken within 4 months of the screening visit, or people who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer
- People who are already scheduled to have keyhole chest surgery to remove a portion of lung tissue, or surgery to remove ovarian cancer tumours
- People (or their legal guardian or representative) who are willing to provide written consent to take part
Who may not be able to join

- People who have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to products containing indocyanine green, a substance used in near-infrared imaging — people with a history of anaphylaxis with no known cause will need further evaluation by the trial site
- People who have a known allergy to any ingredient in the study drug Cytalux™ (pafolacianine)
- People who have psychological, family-related, social, or location-based challenges that could make it difficult to follow the study requirements or attend follow-up appointments
- People who are known to be sensitive to fluorescent light
- People whose kidneys are not functioning well enough, as measured by a specific blood test result below a certain level (confirm with trial site)
- People whose liver is not functioning well enough, based on specific blood test results being significantly above normal ranges — though people with a condition called Gilbert's syndrome may be assessed differently by the trial site
- Women who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People who have taken folate, folic acid, or any supplement containing folate within 48 hours before receiving the study drug Cytalux™ (pafolacianine)
