Who may be able to join

  • People (or their legal guardian or representative) who are willing to provide written consent to take part

Who may not be able to join

Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.

  • People who have had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to products containing indocyanine green, a substance used in near-infrared imaging — people with a history of anaphylaxis with no known cause will need further evaluation by the trial site
  • People who have a known allergy to any ingredient in the study drug Cytalux™ (pafolacianine)
  • People who have psychological, family-related, social, or location-based challenges that could make it difficult to follow the study requirements or attend follow-up appointments
  • People who are known to be sensitive to fluorescent light
  • People whose kidneys are not functioning well enough, as measured by a specific blood test result below a certain level (confirm with trial site)
  • People whose liver is not functioning well enough, based on specific blood test results being significantly above normal ranges — though people with a condition called Gilbert's syndrome may be assessed differently by the trial site
  • Women who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
  • People who have taken folate, folic acid, or any supplement containing folate within 48 hours before receiving the study drug Cytalux™ (pafolacianine)
