Who may be able to join

  • People who are 18 years of age or older at the time of signing the consent form.
  • People who are in reasonably good general health and able to tolerate chemotherapy, as assessed by a standard medical scoring system (called ECOG performance status 0–1).
  • People who have disease that can be measured on scans, according to standard medical criteria (RECIST 1.1 or irRECIST).
  • People with a confirmed diagnosis of recurrent ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, or primary peritoneal cancer, with specific tissue types including serous, endometrioid, clear cell, mucinous, or undifferentiated — confirmed through a pathology report from the original tumour.
  • People whose cancer has come back either after 6 months or more since their last platinum-based chemotherapy (called platinum-sensitive), or within less than 6 months (called platinum-resistant). Those in the platinum-sensitive group would need to have a medical reason they cannot receive standard platinum-based treatment, such as serious ongoing side effects, a severe allergic reaction to platinum drugs, or a decision not to pursue standard treatment.
  • People who are willing to have a tumour biopsy taken within 4 weeks before starting treatment and again after 3 cycles of treatment. In cases where a new biopsy cannot safely or practically be obtained, previously collected (archived) tumour samples may be accepted, but only with approval from the principal investigator.
