- You have received certain brain stimulation treatments (such as electroconvulsive therapy or transcranial magnetic stimulation) within the past 3 years
- Your MRI scan shows significant brain shrinkage that makes a specific brain structure (the external globus pallidus) difficult to identify clearly (confirm with trial site)
