Who may be able to join
- People aged between 18 and 75 years old.
- People with a suspected or confirmed solid tumour, such as prostate cancer, liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma), ovarian cancer, or endometrial cancer.
- People who are already scheduled to have a tumour biopsy or surgery within the next 2 months.
- People who are generally well enough to carry out normal daily activities with little or no limitation (this is measured using a medical scale called ECOG; scores of 0 or 1 are required — confirm with trial site if unsure where a person falls on this scale).
- People with an expected survival of at least 12 weeks.
- People whose blood counts and organ function meet the required levels, specifically: enough white blood cells or infection-fighting cells (neutrophils); enough platelets (cells that help blood clot); haemoglobin (a measure of red blood cell health) at an adequate level; liver function test results within an acceptable range; and kidney function within an acceptable range.
- People who have at least one tumour that can be measured using standard imaging guidelines (known as RECIST 1.1 criteria — confirm with trial site).
- People who are able to understand what the study involves and are willing to sign a consent form.
