  • People who are willing and able to sign a consent form and follow the study schedule and required procedures.
  • People who are being considered for surgery to remove as much of the tumour as possible (cytoreductive or debulking surgery).
  • People who have at least one tumour that can be measured using standard imaging criteria (RECIST version 1.1).
  • People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities meets a certain minimum standard, rated 0 or 1 on a standard medical scale (ECOG performance status).
  • People with a life expectancy of at least 6 months, as assessed by their doctor.

Who may not be able to join

Each point below is a reason the trial team may not be able to accept someone. It is not a list of requirements to meet.

  • People whose ovarian cancer is of certain specific subtypes, including mucinous carcinoma or clear cell carcinoma, rather than the general epithelial type.
  • People who are currently pregnant, or whose most recent pregnancy ended within 2 weeks before the screening visit.
  • People with a serious blockage of the urinary tract (hydronephrosis) that cannot be treated with a stent or drainage procedure, or who have cancer that has spread to the brain or the lining around the brain.
  • People who have had another cancer in the past 3 years, unless it was a type that has been fully treated and considered curable (such as certain skin cancers, a superficial bladder cancer, or early-stage breast cancer in situ).
  • People who have previously been treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors or other therapies that work by modifying the immune system to fight cancer.
  • People who had major surgery within 4 weeks before starting the study treatment, or who have major surgery planned during the study period.
  • People with serious heart or blood vessel disease, or serious conditions affecting the brain or its blood supply.
  • People who still have significant side effects (rated Grade 2 or higher on a standard scale) from a previous cancer treatment, not including hair loss.
  • People with a known allergy or sensitivity to the study drugs or any of their ingredients.
  • People with any other condition that, in the opinion of the study doctor, could affect their safety or interfere with the study results.
