Who may be able to join
- People aged between 30 and 80 years (male or female) who have been diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes.
- People whose diabetes is not well controlled, shown by a blood sugar marker (HbA1c) of 7.0% or higher.

- People who are currently being treated with insulin.
- People who are currently taking a type of diabetes medicine known as a DPP-4 inhibitor (confirm with trial site if unsure whether a current medicine falls into this category).
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding.
