Filter

What a trial phase means
Phase 1
The first studies in people. Usually small, and mainly about safety and dose.
Phase 2
Larger, and about whether the treatment does what it is meant to do.
Phase 3
Larger again, comparing the treatment against the current standard or a placebo.
Phase 4
After a treatment is already in use, studying it in wider practice.
Phase not applicable
The registry uses this where the study is not testing a drug in phases at all, such as a device, a procedure, or an observational study.

A trial can be registered across two phases, such as Phase 1 and 2 together. The phase shown is the one the registry records.

2067 of 2067 matching trials shown.

Some trials do not say which state their Australian site is in, so the state filter shows fewer trials than really have a site there. Clear it to see them all.
